The online store available at www.maisonseve.fr is operated by:

Maison Sève SAS is registered with the Registre du Commerce et des Sociétés (RCS) of Grasse under number 912 345 678. As a company with annual turnover above the applicable threshold, Maison Sève collects and remits VAT.

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale ("Terms") govern all sales of products made by Maison Sève SAS ("Seller") to consumers ("Customer") through the online store at www.maisonseve.fr. Any order placed implies full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms.

These Terms apply exclusively to consumers as defined by French law (Code de la consommation). They do not apply to purchases made for professional or resale purposes, which are subject to a separate commercial agreement.

Maison Sève reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. The Terms applicable to any given order are those in force at the date the order is placed.

All products offered are handcrafted eau de parfums produced in limited batches at our atelier in Grasse, Provence. Product descriptions, olfactory notes, and ingredient information are provided for informational purposes and reflect the characteristics of the current production batch.

Because we produce in batches of 300 bottles using natural raw materials, minor variations in scent character may occur between batches. Such variations are inherent to artisanal production with natural ingredients and do not constitute a defect.

All prices are displayed in euros (€) inclusive of applicable French VAT (currently 20 % for cosmetic products). Prices do not include shipping costs, which are displayed separately at checkout. Maison Sève reserves the right to change prices at any time; the price applicable to an order is the price confirmed at the time of payment.

Product availability is shown in real time. In the event that a product becomes unavailable after an order is placed, the Customer will be notified by email within 48 hours and offered a full refund or alternative product.

To place an order, the Customer selects products and adds them to the cart, proceeds to checkout, provides delivery and payment information, and confirms the order. A binding sales contract is formed at the moment Maison Sève sends an order confirmation email to the Customer.

The Customer must ensure that all information provided (name, delivery address, email, telephone) is accurate and complete. Maison Sève cannot be held responsible for failed deliveries resulting from inaccurate information provided by the Customer.

Orders are processed on business days (Monday–Friday, excluding French public holidays). Orders placed after 14:00 CET are treated as received the following business day.

Payment is due in full at the time of ordering. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and PayPal. All payment data is transmitted via an encrypted TLS connection. Card data is processed by our payment provider and is never stored on our servers.

In the event of payment failure or suspected fraud, Maison Sève reserves the right to cancel the order and notify the Customer.

Orders are dispatched within 2–3 business days of payment confirmation. Delivery times after dispatch are indicative only and depend on the carrier.

Risk of loss passes to the Customer upon handover to the carrier. If a parcel is lost or damaged in transit, the Customer must notify Maison Sève within 7 days of the scheduled delivery date. We will initiate a claim with the carrier and offer a replacement or refund once the investigation is complete.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform Maison Sève SAS, 14 Rue de la Perfumerie, 06130 Grasse, France — or by email at retours@maisonseve.fr — of your decision to withdraw by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or email). You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Upon receipt of the returned goods, Maison Sève will inspect the package and process a full refund of the product price, using the same payment method as the original transaction, within 14 days of receipt. Original shipping costs are refunded only if the entire order is returned.

Maison Sève is legally bound by the statutory guarantee of conformity (garantie légale de conformité) provided under Articles L217-4 to L217-14 of the French Consumer Code, and by the guarantee against hidden defects under Articles 1641 to 1648 of the French Civil Code.

The statutory guarantees apply independently of and in addition to any commercial warranty we may offer. They cannot be excluded or limited by commercial warranty terms.

In the event of a dispute that cannot be resolved through direct negotiation with our customer service team, the Customer may resort to conventional mediation or any other alternative dispute resolution method.

We are affiliated with the following certified mediator: Médiation e-commerce (FEVAD), 60 Rue La Boétie, 75008 Paris — www.mediationfevad.fr. This service is free of charge for the consumer.

The Customer may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr

These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute that cannot be settled amicably or through mediation, the competent courts of Grasse (France) shall have jurisdiction, subject to applicable mandatory consumer protection rules.

Maison Sève's liability to the Customer under these Terms shall not exceed the total amount paid for the products in the relevant order, except in cases of personal injury, death, or damage caused by our gross negligence or wilful misconduct, which cannot be limited by law.

Maison Sève is not responsible for delays or failures in performance resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control (force majeure), including natural disasters, strikes, transport disruptions, or government actions.

Our products are formulated in compliance with EC Regulation No 1223/2009 on cosmetic products. All fragrances are tested for skin safety. The Customer should perform a patch test before first use. Maison Sève cannot be held liable for individual allergic reactions to ingredients clearly listed in the product information.

Personal data collected during the ordering process (name, address, email, telephone) is processed by Maison Sève SAS for the purposes of order fulfilment, customer service, and — where consent has been given — marketing communications.

Your data is never sold to third parties. It is shared only with service providers strictly necessary for order fulfilment (payment processor, carrier). For full information on how we process your data and how to exercise your rights (access, rectification, erasure, portability), please refer to our Privacy Policy.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Failure by Maison Sève to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or of any other provision.

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the Customer and Maison Sève with respect to the purchase of products from our online store.
